The homeowners were referred to us by Coughlin and Shea Builders to renovate their newly purchased home in Concord. The old kitchen was large but was confined due to the misplaced doors and walls. Working from our design, the builders opened the space by removing most of those walls. A large, spacious and functional kitchen emerged. The family room was transformed by adding closet space and a much needed powder room. This kitchen went from drab to crisp and clean. The original wood floor warms the space, and is beautifully complimented by the crisp white cabinetry. A bit of added texture can be found at the back splash with tumbled travertine, and a soft accent in a herringbone pattern above the stove. The unique lollipop shaped island creates a great place for conversation and would make anyone want to stay a while!
