Bathroom Transformation-Project 1637

This bathroom was totally changed in every way you could think of. The existing doorway in the hallway was moved to accommodate a larger shower in that spot. Removing the tub made a stand up shower possible with the width. The wall was knocked down to create a glass wall shower allowing the natural light from the shower in. Floating shelves next to the shower are a perfect place to put towels and other items not needed everyday. Since the shower would have been to big had they built it on the whole wall, the floating shelves were a great compromise. The pink paint was repainted to a cool blue that helped balance of the white painted cabinetry, countertop and tile. The tile had gorgeous veining to bring movement and pattern into the room. Diagonal running bond floor tile is always fun to do in a small room. This bathroom may look simple but it is anything but boring!
