This kitchen was so much fun to create in this Lowell townhouse setting. With having certain boundaries to work around, this kitchen had some of its own challenges to overcome. With the above loft staying at the height and length it currently was, cabinets needed to be chosen to allow for certain amount of storage and be a certain height off the counter top. The existing layout was kept the same and by adding an island in between the living room and kitchen, more storage was created and an eat-in kitchen area was added into the room. The homeowner wanted to pull out the color of the tile and add it into another space in the living quarters. Stain was chosen to help balance out the very large tile wall.
