Corner Range-Project 1098

This kitchen had the perfect amount of space and great structure for a wonderful and functional layout. Having a few appliances to work around made for some easy decisions on locations. In one nook a bar/coffee area was added closer towards the living room for easy access to guests and to keep people from entering the work zones. Frosted glass and mullions were added on the top cabinets to give texture and to hide items in the cabinets but keep them from being heavy. A wine holder cabinet was added for storage of wine easily accessible. The fridge was built in with large pantries on the other side of the kitchen offsetting the bar area. Corner cooktop was the star of the show in this kitchen. Added drawers on the bottom of this built in cooktop is perfect to store your cookie sheets and baking utensils in a reachable area. A framed accent piece was created to enhance the focal point in the room and break up the running bond tile that unifies the space. The island was painted in a different color giving another focal point and breaking up the dark cabinetry. Open storage on the side cabinet was perfect for cook books and magazines.
