A local designer and home builder in the area was ready to do some remodeling on her own home. A new kitchen was in need and she turned to us for help. A white perimeter was a great way to frame out the large space and keep for a neutral background. This leaves the red island as the picture in the frame and be the eye catching piece in the room. Open cabinets by the sink leave spaces to showcase family items and store everyday needed items. An island sink is great for entertaining guests and washing items that come from the fridge. Open bookshelf on the side was added to store magazines and cook books that can be reached at a moments notice. Built in microwave and warming drawer keeps items off the counter and at a height that children can reach. A spice stack was added across from the stove to be able to turn and grab when needed. A wood countertop is a beautiful way to carry the wood floors to another level and to match with the red paint.
