Frameless Riverside-Project 458

This outdated kitchen did not fit with the style of the homeowners and their vision they say for their home. The existing half wall was replaced by a peninsula that opened up the frame between the two rooms, and allowed a sit-in dining area for the family and guests. This also allowed them to extend the run of wall cabinets and add a wine holder cabinet for easy access during parties and get together's. The old dark cabinets were replaced with white cabinets that really gave the kitchen a more open feeling. Contrasting countertops help break up the white cabinets and ground the base cabinets. Built in fridge next to the pantry made for easy connection to the wine holder wall cabinet on the other side. Decorative end panels were added to the ends that were visible for a clean decoration and a finished look. Angled cabinets next to the doorway make for easy traffic flow in and out of the room without bumping the countertop or cabinets. The doorway to the living room was closed off as there were two and only one was needed. By doing so a continuous run of cabinets were able to be installed and the kitchen was no longer broken up into different sections.
