Island and Peninsula Combination-Project 368

This partial kitchen remodel wanted an island added and some new countertops. New cabinets were added to match existing cabinets, while the rest were painted and given a new life. The simplicity of this kitchen was stunning. The wood countertop on the island creates its own little focal point from the rest of the space. The contrast between the black countertop and white cabinets creates and elegant look mixed with the country style of the island. Both styles were mixed beautifully together.
