Slanted Perfection-Project 1891

This old attic bathroom needed some updating and fast. Slopped ceilings made for certain design decisions and limitations. The homeowner wanted more storage if it was possible and a stand up shower instead of a tub. The awkward vanity and countertop was removed and a new floating bamboo vanity took its place. Matching floating shelves were added about the toilet for storage and decoration. It was a perfect way to add in storage without interfering with the sloped ceiling. The height could be adjusted as needed. The outdated tub was removed and a stand up shower was put in the same location so plumbing would not have to be moved. On the left side of the shower more floating shelves were added for storage and again was perfect for not interfering with the slope. It was a great way to bring the warmth of the bamboo to another place in the bathroom. All the plumbing was updated for a clean finished look. Accent tile ran through the shower and niche to bring color into the white tile and give an eye catching view. New floor tile was added for the finished look and large tiles make a small space seem bigger. A taller mirror elongates the height of the room making the space feel taller. This bathroom was beautifully done and a complete turn around from the original look.
