The old laminate cabinets in this home needed to go. Natural maple cabinets were built in right up to the existing soffit. The cabinets added warmth to the space while bringing in some necessary color. Newly painted walls really opened up the room and balanced out the other items that were placed in the kitchen. Beautiful stone backsplash was added around the kitchen for pattern and texture. Full tile behind the range draws your eye towards the ceiling and gives the illusion of taller cabinets. Black floor tile balances the dark countertop by grounding the space and bringing the heaviness to another level.
