2507 - Rustic Elegance

This homeowner had some wonderful ideas on remodeling their home. The rustic elegant look was a must that we fell in love with too. The general layout stayed the same, but appliances moved for easy everyday convenience and a whole desk and hutch area were added as you enter the new sunken family room addition which was part of this overall kitchen remodel project. The accent gray stained maple island cabinets are a nice off-set to the creamy antique white surround and the colors of the Cambria Berwyn marry these two colors nicely for the classy overall look of this beautiful new kitchen. The shape of the island was changed as well to allow for a better flow through the new spaces. To carry the rustic elegance into the mudroom, hickory cabinets stained white were installed with a rustic slate-looking porcelain floor and accent maple stained bench seat. Overall this home took on a whole new life with a more modern great room feel, combining their eat-in kitchen with their brand new family room great for entertaining guests or just hanging out as a family.
