Hardwood floors replaced the old dingy tile that existed before and carried in from the other rooms. The old cabinets were replaced by Alder cabinets with crown to create a beautiful feature that the old kitchen did not have before. A corner sink was wanted by the homeowner to be able to see out her windows while washing dishes to view her yard. Running bond stone backsplash brings great pattern and texture to a simple space. Granite countertops were added for scratch resistance and a soft balance for the alder cabinets.
