Majestic Van Dyke-Project 3059

Dark cabinets and flooring created a very closed in and unwelcoming atmosphere for their kitchen. New lighter hardwood floors replaced the old and helped brighten up the room. The custom door style and finishing helped lighten the atmosphere by making the room not feel so heavy and dragged down. Cut for glass cabinets on the end is a great way to showoff those family heirlooms and gifts that everyone loves to see. The drop zone next to the refrigerator is a perfect place to unload groceries as well as entertainment area to keep guests away from the cooking. Plenty of pantry and storage space was added to keep items stored away and off the countertop. Diagonal end cabinets help the transition between the rooms by keeping the needed distance between rooms. The countertop and the tile coordinate together by bringing the color of the brushing on the cabinets to another plane of the room. This kitchen brings a whole new feel to the home and really shows off the homeowners design style.
