The existing Master Bath was set up in an interesting and non-functional way. A bathroom, an attic space, and a make-up area created a maze of a space with doors and closed spaces. By pushing back the attic wall and removing the wall between the bathroom and make-up area, a dream master bath was created. Pushing back the wall allowed us to add additional spacing for a larger shower, an angled wall for the tub to sit against, and adequate walking space. Built-in cabinet drawers to match the vanity were installed into the attic wall for extra needed storage while not infringing on walk space behind the vanity. Horizontal running bond tile was laid on the floor to draw the viewers into the room while creating a fun and playful pattern. Dark cabinetry contrasted the light tile around the bathroom as well as the wall paint the homeowner selected. A steam shower was created for those long days where extra comfort is needed. A rain head is the perfect way to feel clean and refreshed on an everyday basis. A tall niche stores the assorted items needed in the shower and has plenty of space for his and her's. A matching niche next to the tub takes the accent tile to one more place in the bathroom and is a great place to keep stored items for bath times. Lighting up the tub niche gives the extra touch to complete a romantic feeling. Pebble tile around the tub helps break off the two spaces allowing a separate area just for the Mrs.
