3124 - Country Classic

This kitchen remodel was an interesting project, since the original kitchen had two ranges and a cook top. Since the new homeowners only needed the one range and wanted to keep the cook top, we needed to fill the empty space with cabinets. We were restricted by keeping existing cabinet layout and dimensions but increasing extra storage wanted by the homeowner. In order to increase the storage but not the cabinet dimensions, we added secret accessories to some cabinets. A spice pull-out located next to the range was a perfect way to keep her daily cooking items off the counter and stored in an easily accessible spot. A cloud pullout was installed into the blind corner cabinet so all the space can be utilized and easy to reach by pulling the whole shelf out. A tray divider was a great way to keep all the cookie sheets together near the range, and allowing space for the cooktop jar installed underneath that collects the grease. Pullouts were placed above the fridge to store more cooking utensils that are not used everyday. It also allows for easy ways to reach the items above the fridge. Outdated tile was removed and were painted to freshen up the space and lighten up the dim room. The molding was carried above the window to frame in the space and giving a unique detail to this home.
