This gorgeous house also belongs to one of our contractors. This kitchen was built to represent the homeowners dream house! We did another kitchen for the in-law apartment in the bottom floor for the homeowners mother-in-law. A full wall backsplash behind the stove's hood really brings your attention straight to the back wall and carries your eye up to the ceiling. Even though this kitchen has high ceilings, the homeowner decided to leave the cabinets open to above to create a clear barrier between the two levels. A pantry cabinet with a built in banquet is a cute little sitting area for guest to hangout and chat while still being in the space for easy communication. A two-tiered island allows the cook to prep and clean while keeping the other guests out of the work zone. Dark floors and backsplash really brightens up the white cabinets making it an eye popping masterpiece. Crazy amounts of storage are behind every turn on this room allowing items to be stored for easy accessibility. The extra touch that was added by the homeowner, was the lights that change color under the second tier of the island. It matches the sparkle of the backsplash and countertop. How fun!
