Cooking with a View-Project 1565

This homeowner decided to do something very different with their kitchen and put the range and hood in front of the window. This homeowner loves to cook and wanted to have the beautiful view of her backyard while she cooked. So we decided to switch things up and put the range over by the window and the sink base in the peninsula. Now the homeowner can see outside every time she cooks and be able to see her family while she washes the dishes. I would say it's the best of both worlds. With extremely high ceilings we were able to do wall stacks in this kitchen and glass to the very top of the cabinets to showcase decorative items. By adding the glass it breaks up the heaviness of the large cabinets while creating a special little focal point. Decorative end panels were added to the ends of each run for a final finish look that shows the amount of detail that went into this process. Beautiful countertops add just the right amount of depth needed against the white cabinets and the backsplash tile gives the needed pattern and color variation needed to perfect the look they were trying to achieve.
