Kitchen Cut Through-Project 1310

For this kitchen we had a small floor plan to work with and client wanted to keep it open to surrounding spaces for easy communication. Our task was to create a functional kitchen with as much storage as we could while keeping the space open. Our solution was to create a cut-out between the two rooms giving an island affect but not taking the same amount of space. This allowed us to keep that wall for base cabinets and allowed easy communication into the dining room adjoined. The easy flow between the two rooms allows for a unified feel, while the two columns give an effect of separate spaces.
