Tradition Time-Project 1761

This kitchen was an added addition to an existing home. The dark hardwood floors were mimicked with the dark wood countertops. The island became a gorgeous focal point for this kitchen with its intense detail. The turned legs and wainscot panels really give a clean finished look to this very simple laid out island. The backsplash is just the right amount of color and texture to not overwhelm the simple cabinets. The full height backsplash behind the stove elongates the wall and draws your eye right to it once you enter the room. The space was used to its capacity with storage cabinets next to the fridge, since it was not possible to have wall cabinets on the sink run.
