4088 - Basement Retreat

The existing basement wasn't adding any functional square footage to the house. Like most basements, it was used for storage instead of an area to spend time. That has all changed after this remodel. We added a full bath complete with a spacious shower, floating bamboo vanity and lighted mirror. There is now a L-shape desk set up large enough for two. The laundry was relocated closer to the stairs, behind doors so it is easily concealed. A warm and inviting family room was designed around the existing unused fireplace. The area that was once the garage was turned into an expansive playroom for their growing son. This once unappealing basement, now houses 5 different functions perfectly!
