From Pine to Crisp White-Project 1411

This kitchen had nothing special to it and needed a major pick me up. The cabinets were old and nothing to invite you into the space. Layout needed to change to the needs of the family, which allowed for some creative opportunities. The white cabinets made the small space seem larger and created a more welcoming environment. The countertop on the island was made smaller to allow for more walking area around it and helped the even flow of the kitchen. A bar area was created to allow for entertainment and an extra spot for storage of items that were not used daily. Hardwood floor took the place of the tile which made the kitchen feel more up to date.
